Over the past few weeks, Nick Rowe of Carleton University has been sending me some very fine pieces of analysis that I've posted here. This has increased the quality of this blog immensely, so I'm very pleased to announce that he has agreed to join me and post as an author in his own right.
He will start posting just as soon as he figures out how.
Welcome, Nick. You've posted interesting and high-quality stuff so far. Keep it up.

Thank you very much for inviting me aboard, Stephen! And thanks for the warm welcome Matt!
I have now (just) managed to navigate TypePad, and made my first post, after a couple of false starts. Computers (and hi-tech stuff) scare me, I confess. Eventually I will gather up the courage to learn how to post links properly.

There are so few quality Canadian econ blogs I wonder if it wouldn't make the market more efficient if Nick started his own (kidding).
Great to hear - one more reason to stop by an already excellent blog.

this was always one of my favourite blogs. Adding Nick makes it even better!
